The Colors of 2020: Why is there so much pain?

Blue. Code Blue. Running. Chaos. Charge to 100. He’s not breathing. Push another round.

Compressions. Oxygen. Blue. Tears.

And then, the long scream of the hospital monitor indicating death.

Another one.

200,000 and counting.

Black. Running. Chaos. Racism. Shot. He’s not breathing. Call 911. Let’s video it. Tears.

Too many and counting.

Grey. Doubt. Is there a God? How could he allow this to happen?

God, how much longer is this pain going to last? What more can this year bring? Why do you allow this to happen? Are you even good?

And then chaos stills to the point where you can feel your heartbeat, every rhythm. Your heart slows and you breathe in for four and out for four. Again slow, deep breaths.

“This was never my plan.” He whispers silently through every tear.

Green. My plan was Eden where you would walk with Me every day - where peace would reign forever and you would feel my love with every breath, with every bird call, and with every new day.

Another tempted Eve and humanity fell, and in that moment, I hurt too.

Red. Every pain you have ever felt, I felt it too as I hung on the cross for you and my blood was spilled.

This pain and this suffering was never supposed to be, but until it’s my time to come again, I will walk with you and beside you. I bore this pain, so that one day you don’t have to anymore.

You ask me why there is so much pain and I will tell you, it’s because of sin and it’s also because of free will.

To be as I AM, I gave the choice to choose life or death, to choose Me or sin, because without that choice there is no love at all - there would be only oppression, and that is not who I AM.

But know this, you will not suffer forever.

I am coming back soon. (Revelation 22:12)

Hold fast and rest in Me.

There is coming a day with no more sorrow and no more tears. (Revelation 21:4)

Why is there so much pain? Because they didn’t believe and trust My promises.

White. I’m coming on a white horse.

Then, there will be no more pain.

Gold. The color of My city - a new Jerusalem where all will be made new.

There will be no more pain.

Hold fast, I’m coming soon!
