There are times when God uses us vocally to carry out his works. This is very clearly depicted as Moses stood before Pharaoh to say, “Let my people go.” There is a time to stand and fight for justice,

There is also a time that we may need to be still and know the One who created all people equal. (Acts 17:25-28; John 3:16) This is clearly depicted as God came to Peter in a dream to show him that both Jews and Gentiles were his creation. (Acts 10:9-16)

The train is rounding the bend. He shrieks as he sees his only son run across the bridge. He’s yelling to him to go back, but his son can’t hear him. The tracks rumbling, the train’s coming around. The son is yelling, “Daddy”. He has his hand on the switch and has a difficult decision to make. Does he save his son and let every passenger on the train die? Or does he sacrifice his son and let everyone on the train live? And Michael makes his choice and pulls the lever. He falls to his knees and sobs as the train whizzes by. And as the train speeds by, everyone is laughing, carrying on and having a good time They don’t even notice the huddled down sobbing figure of a man who’s just sacrificed his son for the life of everybody on that train.

God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that ---IF YOU BELIEVE -- in him you should not perish.

In a world where we are increasingly unsure of the motives of the headlines, how do we know where to turn for information that we can build our lives around – information that won’t change from week to week or perhaps never change?

What you’re about to discover is that God wrote a letter to us long ago, so that today we can know for sure that He is God, that He is not surprised by our current situation, and that He desires our good and wants us to know what the future holds.

As we mentioned earlier, when God punishes it is forever but it is not keeping people alive to torture them. They will be destroyed in a moment and don’t think for a second this will be a good day in God’s eyes. Souls He created and died for are lost because they did not choose to be saved, not because He did not want them to be saved.

Hell was never prepared for anyone but the devil and his angels. You have to now decide how knowing this changes your relationship and perspective of God.

We are on the verge of the greatest revolution the world has ever seen. Automation is slated to take nearly half of all jobs in the coming years according to the most recent report from the White House.

What will this do to education? It’s not just the blue-collar jobs that will be affected, it’s white-collar jobs too.

In an age of self-driving trucks to deliver goods, self-driving cars to take us from here to there, tractors that are programmed to plant 1000 acres of corn, wheat, soybeans and then harvest that same 1000 acres without any need of many humans getting involved – what will be the result?

How would your life change if right now you knew you were going to take 52 additional vacation days – 10 weeks (5x10) - in the next year? How would that affect your peace of mind? Satisfaction? Family life? Love life? How would it affect your bank account?

We now know why He allows suffering! When God created everything it was perfect, He gifted His creation with free will so they could experience a selfless loving relationship... His creation rebelled against Him. To protect His relationship with those who remained faithful He allowed the rebellion to continue so the questions regarding His character could be seen in true light. God manifested His character in His Son when He died for sinners. Today He is patiently waiting for those who have not yet made a decision to make one! Whose side are you going to take in this great controversy between Christ and Satan?

2020 did give us 20/20 vision, and it was ugly.

The virus killed, racism killed, fear killed, jealousy killed, selfishness killed.

As people are being violently murdered and as people who are scared are violently responding, it seems a civil war for justice is on the verge.

Here’s the real wake-up call. We are already in a war - a spiritual war rampaging through our streets, our homes, our justice system, and within ourselves. And we are not prepared.

Have you ever lost someone you loved?

When this happens, we find ourselves trying to make sense of it all. Why did this happen? We begin to blame someone or something – God, self, circumstances.

Blue. Code Blue. Running. Chaos. Charge to 100. He’s not breathing. Push another round.

To be commanded to love is slightly oxymoronic is it it not? For a loving God who has given us free will to choose freedom and eternity with him, telling us to love Him seems rather out of character.
